    Jnana Vidyalaya is a one-of-a-kind educational institute which teaches Vedic Shastra and Regular academic subjects in an integrated manner. The primary aim of Jnana Vidyalaya is development of a wholesome personality with moral and spiritual values which our ancient Gurukula system developed. The unique value this institute brings is to teach Vedic Shastra as part of the day-to-day curriculum

  • What is the purpose of Jnana Vidyalaya?
    Jnana Vidyalaya is trying to bridge the gap between new way of education and our santana education system and make the child proficient in both laukika and adhytamika jnana. He /She will be proficient in modern education system without losing out on our traditional madhwa philosophy and values.
  • What are the enrollment requirements?
    To enroll in Jnana Vidyalaya, the child seeking admission in jnana vidyalaya must have completed the previous class of study for the class in which he is seeking admission. However the minimum age requirement is a kid who is 5 years old and who has the basic skills of reading and writing in English and a regional language can be admitted in 1 std which is the opening class of Jnana Vidyalaya.
  • Is it necessary to get TC from previous school?
    TC is optional. If you are in receipt of the transfer certificate from the previous educational institution you can submit the same with Jnana Vidyalaya. TC submission is not compulsory.
  • How much does it cost? / Importance of Guru Dakshina
    A student had to pay nothing in return for education he received in a Gurukul or Ashram. Access to good education depends not on wealth but on talent. But in the present era nothing comes free and people value what they pay for. Students can express their gratitude with a minimum Guru Dakshina.
  • Is there any office where we can go and speak personally? If yes address?
    As of now we have digital platform only, in future we may have.
  • Is the School Registered?
    Jnana Vidyalaya is not affiliated to any single Board. But the curriculum followed is CBSE with NCERT books. The student will take the grade X Board exams from NIOS Board.
  • What will be taught as part of adhyatmik learning?
    Madhwa Vijaya, Harikathamrutha Sara, Lakshmi Shobhane and other important Stotras and songs.
  • To which board Jnana Vidyalaya is affiliated?
    Jnana Vidyalaya takes the syllabus prescribed by NIOS, and when child reaches X th Std, he/she will be enrolled to take up the public exam through NIOS.
  • What syllabus is followed here?
    NCERT syllabus has been prescribed by NIOS for the primary classes. Adhyatmik syllabus will be followed as prescribed by the Honorary Adivisory Board Members & Scholars of HSvj foundation
  • Which pattern do u follow? Semester or term wise?
    Totally 3 terms
  • How many days in a week classes will be there?
    It will be an online classes. We are working to have regular physical classes also. We will update once we decide.
  • Will there be physical classes?

  • Do I need to purchase textbooks and materials when I enroll my child?
    All the reading materials you are required to access are included with your course. You will be provided with recommended and suggested texts for further exploration.
  • Is there any dress code for Students?
    Yes dress code is compulsory for boys and girls. Long skirt with decent top for girls and for boys full pant with shirt.
  • If a student misses the class are there any Recorded Videos available?
    Yes definitely.
  • Are you planning any physical activities since these are all online, students tend to miss the Physical activities?
    We have yoga, exercise classes.
  • What are the vocational courses which are taught?
    Yoga, craft as of now and in future many other things are planned.
  • Should an adult be present while child is attending online classes?
    Yes.
  • What about discipline?
    The structured learning system, along with positive reinforcements from teachers will help students to become disciplined. Of course, we would need the support of parents and others at home to achieve this.
  • Will homework be given to child?
    Yes, daily homework, assignments will be given.
  • How do I report my leave of absence?
    In respective class whatsapp group or mail.
  • How will I know my child is learning?
    Through continuous evaluation.
  • How will examinations be conducted?
    Through online.
  • What if a kid copy during online evaluation?
    We have all sorts of evaluation like oral, writing, practical so an efficient teacher can find out if a student copies from other sources.
  • Will I get progress report of my child?
    Yes after every term.
  • Will there be PTM?
    Yes after every term.
  • If we would like to meet the teachers personally is it possible? If yes How and where?
    As of now we have digital platform only, in future we may have.
  • It is very difficult to have a long run without meeting teachers? How would you manage this?
    As most of the things are digitalized we are moving towards digital education however once in a year get together will be arranged depends upon situation.
  • Jnana Vidyalaya can provide course completion certificate which may/may not be accepted by other schools
    Yes, definitely. Students coming out of Jnana Vidyalaya will be on par with rest of the students and compete for any exams or get any jobs.
  • Will NIOS treated as private studies?
    Certificate from NIOS will be considered as degree completed from open university.
  • Will there be a problem in case I want to change from Jnana Vidyalaya to some other school in future?
    Since the student will get certificate from NIOS, changing school will not be a problem.
  • Do you have any other things like Robotics, AI etc?
    We will slowly come up with these subjects also.
  • Will my child be able to do well in competitive exams and will there be good recognition of his/her marks?
    Yes, since the students will study the regular subjects based on NIOS syllabus which is on par with CBSE syllabus, there children will easily get through the competitive exams with high ranks and there will be good recognition of his/her marks.
  • As we will be following NCERT syllabus only which is followed by CBSE, students will be able to answer all questions
    As we are slowly progressing into the virtual world only now due to pandemic, we have able teachers who can address any issues if the child has and we have group activities planned so that the child does not feel left out.
  • How can a child study all Sumadwa Vijaya, HKS, Lakshmi Shobane etc How can a child cope up?
    The syllabus of Adhyatmik learning and regular subjects learning are planned in such a way that there is a good balance of both without creating any stress on the children.
